The trial between telecommunication corporations
Everybody must realize that a minute is composed of sixty seconds. I was wondered to learn that for some prepaid phone card providers one minute - just 36 seconds. According to the statement done by some IDT company, lots of calling card corporations are become a party in unjust competition. In 2007 IDT/UTA (Union Telecard Alliance) commenced a lawsuit against several companies-providers of prepaid phone cards alleging erroneous advertisement and misleading commerce operations.
According to IDT media research, some of their rivals just give 60 percent of the advertised minutes to the client. In November 2007 Total Call International, Inc. and IDT/UTA have received a complete settlement of the lawsuit delivered by IDT Telecom, Inc. and Union Telecard Alliance, LLC against Total Call. Earlier IDT/UTA intiated legal procedure against the group of defendants for three times. Today there is a list of other defendants includes about six corporations and some of them are: Epana Networks Inc., Dollar Phone Corp., etc.. That incomplete action is being on approval in the federal tribunal in Newark, New Jersey. Newly I saw a post on one of prepaid telecom related blogs where a softswitch producer showed his system.
